Terms of Service

1. The Service

Barcode Canvas provides a cloud-based label and barcode design platform, a local desktop printing bridge (LabelPro Bridge), and optional browser utilities for syncing marketplace order data. The Service is intended for business use by e-commerce merchants, warehouse operators, and logistics professionals.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions & Payment

• Billing: Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) through PayPal. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your PayPal account on the applicable billing cycle.
• Price Changes: We may change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until that date.
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at info@barcodecanvas.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review your case.
• Free Tier: A free tier is available with limited functionality. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate counterfeit barcodes, fraudulent shipping labels, or any labels intended to deceive consumers or carriers.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation, including consumer protection, export control, or data protection laws.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our prior written consent.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code into the Service or its infrastructure.

Violation of this section may result in immediate termination without refund and, where applicable, referral to relevant authorities.

5. Intellectual Property

• Our IP: The Service, its design, code, and all associated materials are owned by LabelPro Hardware Systems and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
• Your Content: You retain full ownership of the label designs and templates you create using the Service. By saving content to our cloud infrastructure you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and serve that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Desktop Bridge Software

LabelPro Bridge is provided as a free utility under these Terms. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software solely in connection with the Service. You may not modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the bridge software.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that label output will be accepted by any specific carrier or marketplace.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LabelPro Hardware Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service — including but not limited to lost profits, failed shipments, or carrier disputes — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period, subject to our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in another jurisdiction, mandatory local consumer protection laws may also apply.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
