Dymo Barcode Label Software That Prints From Your Spreadsheet
Design a label in your browser, import an Excel or CSV file, and print one label per row to your Dymo LabelWriter through the LabelPro Bridge.
Printing barcode labels for stock, shelves or Amazon FBA from a spreadsheet should not mean retyping every code. In Barcode Canvas you design a label once, import your Excel or CSV file, and print one label per row on your Dymo LabelWriter.
Labels go from your browser to the printer through the LabelPro Bridge, a small Windows app that uses your printer's normal Windows driver. There is no browser print dialog and no manual scaling, and if your labels print slightly off-centre, a per-printer offset setting fixes it once and keeps it fixed.
Compatible Dymo Models
Any Dymo model with a Windows printer driver works with the LabelPro Bridge.
How It Works
Design your label
Set the canvas to your Dymo label size, then add barcodes, text and your logo. Choose from EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 128, QR Code, DataMatrix and more.
Import your spreadsheet
Upload an Excel or CSV file, paste your data, or link a public Google Sheet. Turn columns into variable fields so every row becomes its own label.
Print to your Dymo
Install the LabelPro Bridge on Windows and press Direct Print. Labels go straight to your LabelWriter through its Windows driver.
What You Get
Works with any Dymo LabelWriter
If your Dymo appears in Windows Devices & Printers, the Bridge prints to it. No model-specific setup.
4XL shipping labels — built-in template
The 4×6 inch shipping label template matches the Dymo 4XL's standard roll format. Open it, add your content, print.
No DYMO subscription
DYMO Label Software has moved towards subscription-based features. Barcode Canvas has a free tier and affordable paid plans with no platform lock-in.
Vector barcodes — scannable on thermal
Dymo thermal heads print crisp vector geometry. Barcodes generated in Barcode Canvas scan reliably on all major scanners.
Per-printer offset calibration
Dymo printers can have a small mechanical offset. Set it once in Settings and it's applied permanently to every print job.
Bulk label runs from a spreadsheet
Upload a CSV with names, barcodes, or addresses and print a full run without touching each label individually.
⚙️ Per-Printer Calibration
If your labels print slightly off-centre, use the per-printer calibration tool in Settings → Printers. Set an X and Y offset in millimetres. The correction is saved to your account and applied automatically every time you print to that printer — including from the Bridge.
Barcode Canvas vs DYMO Label Software
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need DYMO's own software to print?
No. You design in Barcode Canvas in your browser, so you do not need DYMO's label design software. Printing goes through your LabelWriter's Windows driver, so the driver has to be installed and the printer has to appear in Windows under Devices & Printers.
Can I print barcodes from an Excel or CSV file?
Yes. Import an .xlsx or .csv file, paste rows straight from a spreadsheet, or link a public Google Sheet. Mark a column as a variable field on your label and every row prints as its own label.
Which barcode types can I print on a Dymo?
Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A, Code 39, QR Code, DataMatrix and Amazon FNSKU labels. The Free plan includes the barcode and QR generator, and Silver and above unlock all barcode types.
How much does it cost?
The Free plan starts with a 30-day trial that includes 100 prints and 3 saved designs, with no card needed. After the trial, Silver is £5.99 a month and Gold is £14.99 a month, and the Pricing page lists what each plan includes. The LabelPro Bridge is a free download.
My Dymo labels print slightly off-centre. How do I fix it?
Open Settings, go to Printers, and set an X and Y offset in millimetres for your LabelWriter. The correction is saved to your account and applied every time you print to that printer.
Which Dymo printers does it work with?
The LabelPro Bridge prints to any Dymo with a Windows printer driver, including the LabelWriter 450, 450 Turbo, 4XL, 550, 550 Turbo and Wireless. If the printer appears in Windows under Devices & Printers, it can receive labels from Barcode Canvas.
